Wine Tasting Ticket Sales
The uber-popular MEL Wine Tastings begin in October and will continue through March. These events have become a must-do on the MEL social circuit and, as a result, ticket sales are always brisk. This means that people are often excluded from the opportunity to purchase tickets which, unfortunately, brings disappointment. In an effort to make tickets more available to MEL members, some changes have been implemented for the upcoming season.
Tickets to Individual Monthly Tastings
Tickets to each tasting will go on sale for MEL members only two weeks before each event beginning at 9:00 AM. These member-only tickets may be purchased ONLINE ONLY at our MEL Shop. During this special pre-sale period, purchasers must hold a valid and current Individual or Family membership at MEL, and may purchase a maximum of two tickets per membership number. Season Ticket holders are not eligible to purchase additional tickets during this special pre-sale session, buy may do so during the general sale. Any orders that violate these conditions will be cancelled and refunded. You will need your library membership number to complete your purchase. Tickets go on sale to the general public – library members and non-members alike – beginning ten days before the event at 9:00 AM and can be purchased online or in person at the library without limit.
Tickets for each tasting this season are $700 for MEL members and $800 for non-members.
Season Subscriptions
Beginning October 1, MEL members can purchase season tickets that allow admission to all six Wine Tastings. The sale is restricted to Individual and Family library members only, and while the season tickets are transferable to other MEL members they are NOT REFUNDABLE. No more that two season tickets may be purchased for each Individual or Family membership. The cost is MX$4,200 per season ticket.
This will be an ONLINE SALE ONLY (Payment by PayPal or credit card) and begins at 9 AM on October 1. Visit the MEL Shop to buy your season tickets. Please note you will need to provide your library membership number to make this purchase. Contact our front desk by email or by phone at 9999 24 84 01 if you don’t know your number. Any purchase made without a valid, current individual or family library membership, or purchases in excess of the allowed quantity, will be canceled and refunded.
You can buy or renew your membership online or visit the library during operating hours. Memberships cost $400/year for an Individual membership and $500/year for a Family membership.
