Wine Evening Ticket Sales
The uber-popular MEL Wine Evenings begin in October and will continue through March, held on the third Thursday of each month, except in October when the event will be held on October 22. These events have become a must-do on the MEL social circuit and, as a result, ticket sales are always brisk. This means that people are often excluded from the opportunity to purchase tickets which, unfortunately, brings disappointment. In an effort to make tickets more available to MEL members, will follow these polices for the upcoming season:
Tickets to Individual Monthly Evenings
Tickets to each event will go on sale for MEL members only two weeks before each event beginning at 9:00 AM. These member-only tickets may be purchased ONLINE ONLY at our MEL Shop. During this special pre-sale period, purchasers must hold a valid and current Individual or Family membership at MEL, and may purchase a maximum of four tickets per Family membership number or two tickets per Individual membership number. Season Ticket holders are not eligible to purchase additional tickets during this special pre-sale session, buy may do so during the general sale. Any orders that violate these conditions will be cancelled and refunded. You will need your library membership number to complete your purchase. Contact us by email if you don’t know your membership number number.
Tickets go on sale to the general public – library members and non-members alike – beginning ten days before the event at 9:00 AM and can be purchased online or in person at the library without limit.
Tickets for each event this season are $800 for MEL members and $900 for non-members, and are transferable but NOT REFUNDABLE.
Season Subscriptions
Beginning September 18, MEL members can purchase season tickets that allow admission to all six Wine Evenings. The sale is restricted to Individual and Family library members only, and while the season tickets are transferable to other MEL members they are NOT REFUNDABLE. Members may purchase four season tickets for each Family membership number and two season tickets per Individual membership number. The cost is MX$4,800 per season ticket.
Visit the MEL Shop (payment by PayPal or credit card) beginning at 9:00 AM on October 1 to buy your season tickets, or visit us at the library (payment by cash, credit card or bank transfer). Please note you will need to provide your library membership number to make this purchase. Contact us by email if you don’t know your membership number. Any purchase made without a valid, current Individual or Family library membership, or purchases in excess of the allowed quantity, will be canceled and refunded.
