MEL Wine Tasting - January 2026

Step into one of Centro Historico’s most beloved private homes for an unforgettable evening in support of the Mérida English Library.  This fan-favorite, beautifully restored traditional colonial residence , richly filled with art and character, is located in the heart of the ‘Gastronomic Corridor’ offering the perfect setting for a sophisticated night of community, culture and celebration.  

On Thursday January 22, 2026, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, guests will enjoy special wines and complimentary tapas while being serenaded throughout the evening by a very special Yucatecan Trio, providing live music for relaxed listening pleasure.  Surrounded by timeless architecture, curated artwork, and warm colonial elegance, this enchanting home sets the stage to ring in 2026 in style.

Tickets go on sale to MEL Members only at 9:00 AM on Thursday, January 8 online in the MEL Shop.  This members-only presale period is an online-only sale, and ticket purchases are limited to two per library Individual or Family membership number.  Please look here for details.

Any remaining tickets will go on sale without limit on Monday January 12 at 9:00 AM, either online or in person at MEL.  Tickets are $700 for MEL members and $800 for non-members.

We encourage supporters of MEL and those who want to enjoy a fun evening with art, music, good wine and tasty tapas to buy a Season Ticket for $2,100 This will guarantee your spot at the remaining three tastings, including the exciting January 22 event.
