Rosy Peraza is a visual artist, muralist, and cultural manager, whose vibrant, symbol-rich work animates both public and private spaces in Mexico and abroad. Voted Favorite Living Artist in Yucatán by Yucatán Magazine in 2024, she blends impressionism, expressionism, and a contemporary poetic sensibility. Guided early by her father and shaped by a lineage of artists, Rosy’s practice is deeply rooted in her Mayan and Zapotec heritage, where ancestral imagery becomes a living visual language. Her time in Paris (2011–2012) strengthened her belief in art as universal dialogue. Founder of the Rosy Peraza Collaborative Art Studio, she sees art as an act of truth, emotion, and connection.
