Daniel Rosel is one of Yucatán’s most prolific visual artists, known for a career marked by technical refinement and sustained creative momentum. A FECAY grantee in 1997, Rosel has earned recognition through major awards in Mexico and abroad, including First Prize in Drawing/Printmaking and an Honorable Mention in Painting at SIART-99 in La Paz, Bolivia, First Prize in Painting at the Fernando García Ponce Salon in Mérida, and an Honorable Mention at the Joaquín Clausell Biennial in Campeche. His work has been featured in institutions such as Centro Cultural Olimpo, Museo de la Cultura Maya, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Ateneo de Yucatán, and the Museo Dolores Olmedo Patiño. Rosel has been part of the Yucatecan Contemporary Art Salon since 1997.
