Mauricio Gallardo is a multidisciplinary artist whose career spans painting, experimental film, photography, and audiovisual production. Though trained as a pianist from early childhood, painting became his primary field of inquiry, leading him to graduate from the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Printmaking “La Esmeralda.”

Over the past decade, he has also worked extensively as a cultural manager, curator, and director of 665 Gallery, where he has organized roughly twenty-five exhibitions for national and international artists. His own work has been shown in Mexico, Canada, and Germany, with twelve solo exhibitions to date. Gallardo continues to develop transdisciplinary projects that integrate visual art, moving image, performance, and public-space interventions, reflecting a career rooted in continual experimentation and production.
