Alma Citlalli moved to Yucatán at a young age and grew up in an artistic family that nurtured her creative path. From childhood she explored various visual expressions until discovering printmaking as her primary medium. Through this technique, she creates characters and scenes inspired by contemporary life and Mexican culture, approached with a fresh, playful, and humorous perspective. Her work encourages the enjoyment of emotion and the full experience of joy, reclaiming imagination and the value of play as essential parts of existence. Alma has presented solo exhibitions such as Locuras en su tinta (2019) and Historias estrelladas (2018), and has participated in numerous group shows, including Identidad Estampada (2022) and FILEY exhibitions.
