Darío is a visual artist working in painting and printmaking, with training in oil, acrylic, linocut, woodcut, and monotype techniques. Beginning an early artistic path in 2011, he first worked autodidactically before studying and exhibiting at El Caimito Cultural Center with José Luis Rumbo. Since then, he has participated in multidisciplinary groups, open studios, and both collective and solo exhibitions, while also collaborating with Universidad Marista to support the development of visual arts workshops.

In 2018, Darío began formal printmaking studies with Maestro Efraín Novelo and has continued exhibiting widely, including recently at Casa de Cultura de Progreso. He currently researches and produces new work from a studio in Mérida’s Centro.
