Pre-registration - whether online using this MEL Shop or in-person at the library - is not required but recommended during our busiest months of January and February when tours are often sold out. Your tickets guarantee a spot on the tour for you. If you find you need to cancel this registration, you must do so some time before the day of the tour. We do not issue refunds for same-day cancellations or no-shows. This is a rain-or-shine event. And please, for these tours of private homes, no smoking or pets.
We typically meet at the library each morning but sometimes visit the historic neighborhoods of La Ermita or San Sebastián and will gather at nearby parks instead of at MEL for those tours. See information about the tours on our website.
