MEL Talks - Connie Burk

Connie Burk has been studying this project for over a year and was surprised to learn that it is much more than a tourist train. She'll share an overview about the various types of trains, tracks, and stations, and describe some of the dizzying array of programs in the megaproject that are accompanying the train, especially those that will affect Mérida and Progreso.

Connie is a retired expat living in Tixkokob near Merida. Her field is International Development and she has been obsessed with this project ever since learning that the train is going to pass right by her home.
