Author Spotlight - DL Evans

The Mérida English Library community is fortunate to have many accomplished writers in our midst. This edition of Author Spotlight turns its attention to D.L. Evans, who has resided with her husband in Santa Ana for more than a decade. In addition to her books, Denice is an accomplished camerawoman and director and she has written extensively for television.

Readers of all ages will enjoy her Adam Stone mystery series.  The protagonist of this five-book series, ex-cop turned writer Adam Stone, findshimself entangled in mysteries in exotic locations around the world.  The first book of the series, SAGE, follows Adam as he attempts to discover whether psychic Annie Stafford is the next victim in a series of unexplained disappearances of beautiful women, or a manipulative predator orchestrating events to suit her own devious purpose?  

Continue from there as Adam moves on to Thailand  and France in SNAKE OIL, then to Mérida where he and Annie Stafford must solve the murder of scuba divers in a cenote in BLOOD.  The final two books in the series are QUEENS and ARTIFACT, and all feature a fast-moving plot, intriguing characters and exotic locations.
