Naked, she enters the Meld and connects to the intergalactic starship. Now united with the huge vessel, she is in total control. She IS the starship. But identical sister ships are inexplicably breaking down, destroying planets, drifting aimlessly in space or disappearing without a trace.

The home world Council can’t explain why this is happening or why she is experiencing memory loss and hallucinations. For the first time in her life, she is afraid. And she is ALONE.
