Juan Pablo's work focuses on the representation of the human being, specifically on a permanent search to capture the deepest expressions of the faces of indigenous and mestizo peoples of México and the entire American continent. Through these portraits, he seeks to capture the cultural and spiritual richness of the native communities, exploring their identities and making visible their presence throughout history. The use of color and textures in this work is a way to give life to each face, each wrinkle and each look, which are testimony to an ancestral heritage.
