James Bonachea's work has been characterized as a constant invitation to redefine both the beliefs rooted in the cultural imagination, as well as everyday objects. This exercise has led him to intervene in public and private spaces, involving both his own body as well as organic materials and other elements in apparently contradictory settings and surfaces, within the formal solutions of visual and pictorial discourses.
