YANES

Eduardo Yanes Hidalgo developed a visual language that blends symbolism and conceptual clarity to examine the social and existential tensions of contemporary life. Working fluidly across painting, installation, sculpture, photography, and assemblage, he uses recognizable signs and carefully researched materials to explore themes such as power, migration, identity, and memory. His works function as layered, often encrypted inquiries that invite viewers to question perception and meaning.

YANES has presented sixteen solo exhibitions and participated in more than 60 group shows across Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean. His work appears in major collections, including the Hood Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Monterrey, ECOH Gallery, and numerous private collections worldwide.
