ANGELLA HOLGUIN

México City

Ceramics • Sculpture • Wood

Angella Holguín is a sculptor whose practice spans metal, textiles, ceramics, wood, and minerals. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her work explores the regenerative power of craft, the cyclical transformations of nature, and the dialogue between matter and spirit—seeking lightness within weight and expressive strength in organic forms.

Angella has presented solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad, including recent shows at Casa Frissac, the Querétaro Museum of Art, Terreno Baldío, and Galería Secreta. She has been commissioned for public sculptures by cultural institutions in Querétaro and by BHDM Design for the Hyatt in San Francisco. She is represented by Art-Scène Gallery in Paris and is a current PECDA Fellow.
