The James Webb Space Telescope is the world's premier space science observatory, and it is currently the most advanced space telescope in the world. Launched into orbit on December 25, 2021, by NASA with its partners: the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency, it will allow us to get closer than ever to the ends of the universe. It will shed new light on the search for life beyond our solar system.
