5 de Mayo - Snack Sale

You guessed right! Cinco de Mayo is coming up soon, and we are ready to celebrate it here at MEL.

And no, we have to make it clear, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (that’s in September). The way we see it, it’s a great opportunity to gather, celebrate, and learn about Mexican history and culture. Click here to learn more about the history of Cinco de Mayo.

Chef Nefer will be preparing delicious NACHOS! Served with beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, and grilled meat (optional). Add more flavor with different sauces and garlic cream.

Drinks like soda, iced tea, coffee, and aguas frescas will be available for sale as well.

This is a chance to visit the library and have a tasty breakfast while enjoying the company of the MEL Community.
