REOPENING OF MEL

REOPENING OF THE MÉRIDA ENGLISH LIBRARY MONDAY SEPTEMBER 9TH

We're pleased to announce the Mérida English Library is finally back open after two months of renovations.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, September 9th. The hours of service will be:

• Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and  7:00 - 9:00 pm for Conversaciones con Amigos 

• Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m

• Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 7:00 p.m

• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Sunday: Closed

Members and guests will see redesigned outdoor spaces, and more shelving units that host our now 19,000+ item collection. MEL faced critical infrastructure needs and important work was done on the interior ceilings and walls.   Among other enhancements, you will see a diaper-changing station in one of the bathrooms too.

Programs will resume this same Monday, September 9th. 

Visitors can expect MEL to continue being a vibrant place for the community.
