Meet The OSY┃A Talk by José Areán

The Orquesta Sinfónica de Yucatán (OSY) will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024. This outstanding symphony orchestra is a true melting pot of musicians from all over the world: from Mexico, the US, Colombia and Cuba, to Russia, Georgia, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, the UK, and Spain. This unique combination of musical cultures and nationalities has successfully merged with the local Yucatan culture, creating an extraordinary creative community of musicians capable of performing a wide repertory that balances tradition and innovation. Our community is expanding, and so are our education and outreach programmes, in preparation for our 20th anniversary celebration next year.
