CALLING ALL CHILI COOKS!

The Mérida Chili Cookoff is back and we want your Chili!

Registration is open and here is what you need to know:

Who: Everyone! Amateurs, Chefs, Pro Chili Makers, or First Timers. Be thinking about a snappy name for your chili.

What: Craft 10 Liters (2.5 gal) of Chili (meat, no meat, tofu, whatever) and bring your pot with a ladle to serve it.

Where: Casa de Amistad, located at Calle 18 #109 in Colonia Itzimná, Mérida, Yucatán

When: January, 12, 2025 from 1:00 -5:00 PM

Additional details:

We will provide a stand for your chili pot, sterno to keep it warm, sample cups, signage with your chili’s name, tents, and chairs.
Each contestant will receive two complimentary event tickets.
A People’s Choice vote will award First, Second and Third place finishers. There will be prizes!
