The ‘Captain’ is a a British ex-merchant seaman who loathes Americans, his best friend, his partner, and maybe even his own half-Mexican daughter who is going out of her mind. Over one long hot summer in his adopted home on the Yucatan coast, events spiral out of control and threaten to ruin the lives of all in his little community.
