The city of Mérida has a vibrant community of writers and the Mérida English Library has supported this audience for many years. Each year, MEL hosts a Local Author Book Fair on our patio, and invite the community to meet these authors, purchase their work, and support our local literary talent.

The 2025 edition of the book fair will be held on March 10 from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
