The camera is the tool Ivan uses to create different lines of work rooted in photographic tradition. His black and white images of everyday life in the streets of Merida instantly refer to the idea of the “decisive moment”, while his Permanent Ephemera series of imagined mural-art allows him to create color visions of the city’s old walls, unbound by the constraints of straight photography.
