Mérida Writers Group

In 2007, the Mérida Writers' Group was started by a group of local authors who aimed to offer support and critique each other's works-in-progress. This endeavor has taken many forms over the past decade and a half, and, following a brief hiatus due to the COVID lockdown, the group is once again meeting regularly. All writers living in Mérida's vicinity, regardless of level of experience, are welcome to attend the meetings in the classroom at MEL, alternate Wednesdays at 11:00 AM.  See our calendar for a schedule and email us for more information.
