December ‘22 Wine Tasting Report

For those of us who grew up with chestnuts roasting on an open fire while building snowmen and hanging Christmas stockings on the fireplace mantel, a Tropical Holiday is both exciting and sometimes a little disorientating.

This year, we leaned into it! We experienced a uniquely Mérida-style MEL Holiday Wine Tasting pairing festivity-worthy wines from around the world with canapés inspired by Atipico Restaurant chef/owner Paty’s rich personal Mexican-Lebanese-American family traditions. Monica and Wes Highfill hosted us in their expansive and festive La Ermita home.
