H&G Special Neighborhood & Evening Tours

The Original MEL House & Garden Tours typically depart from the library at 10:00 AM, but on occasion we meet at an off-site location and visit neighborhoods on the borders of centro. Our first neighborhood tour of the season will be on December 10, when we will meet at the historic Parque de Santa Ana. Join us at the fountain by 9:30 AM.

December 10 also features the first Evening Tour of the season! Our tour organizers created these events during the 2024-25 season, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the H&G Tour at MEL. They were so popular that we’re bringing them back! As night falls, the magic begins. With thoughtfully placed lighting, these homes take on a whole new glow, and their charm is transformed. From the soft illumination of antique furniture restored to the way light enhances vibrant colors and intricate designs, you'll see these spaces in a way that’s simply marvelous. We’ll start this special Evening Tour by meeting at the Museo Regional de Antropología on Paseo de Montejo at Calle 43.
