MEL Talks-David Keelan & Neil Mandel

The Community Garden Project - The Mérida English Rotary Club partnered with other local and US Rotary Clubs to fund and build a sustainable community garden for a group of people living in makeshift housing on government property. Their goal is to do more than just build a garden, but to teach the effected community how to sustain the garden, expand it, and secure it from varmints and bad actors. This includes germinating their own seeds, composting, etc. David and Neil will discuss their experiences with this project and their future plans. Watch the video on YouTube.
