Crochet Workshop

This workshop is designed for complete beginners and intermediates wishing to gain more confidence within their skills. By the conclusion of the series, you will be able to successfully read patterns that you find and easily free-hand crochet.

The crochet workshop will be conducted over a span of six weeks, meeting every Monday morning beginning on January 8th and concluding on February 12th. Each session starts at 10:00 AM and concludes around 11:30 AM.

The content of each session are as follows:

  • Session one: Basic stitches - Learn how to chain, single crochet, half double crochet & double crochet.

  • Session two: Special & more advanced stitches - Learn treble crochet, shell pattern, flower stitch.

  • Session three: Standing stitches & working in the round - Learn how to make circular crochet projects, and learn tips to do so seamlessly.

  • Session four: Magic circle & Granny squares - Learn how to make granny squares and use magic circles (the way granny squares are begun) in your other projects.

  • Session five: Increasing and Decreasing & Weaving in ends - Learn to expand and decrease your projects & how to finish them off.

  • Session six: Canvas Crocheting & Reading Patterns - Learn to switch between multiple colors of yarn through canvas crocheting & to read written patterns proficiently by any creator.

The classes are $200 each, or you can purchase the entire series for $1000. This includes all supplies needed and patterns at the end of the workshop.
